2018 - A Year to Remember for The Never Miss a Beat Foundation

Where do we begin? For starters, this year has been the best year so far for our foundation. We started off with raising awareness and gaining a strong following from those all over. We even have people reaching out from France! How cool is that?!

Fast forward to May, our team sat outside of multiple Walmart’s, for three straight weekends, to raise funds and to let shoppers know who we are and what we are all about. Our president even let shoppers pie him in the face in order to raise funds for Congenital Heart Disease! The biggest challenge we face isn’t about raising money, it’s about raising awareness and getting individuals to support our mission.

After our mini project in May, we got to work and prepared for our biggest fundraiser yet. The second annual bowling fundraiser was a dream that we wish we could relive, but the hard work and dedication that our team voluntarily put in is what made it possible. Over 130 people showed up to bowl and supported our cause. More than 40 corporations and individuals donated prizes to be won at the event. Even 6 ABC news came out to see what all the buzz was about! In the end, we raised $3500 from the event itself, gave away some really cool prizes, and most importantly had a lot of fun while doing some good.

2018 was certainly our best year and one we are forever grateful for. We cannot thank everyone who was involved enough. Whether you donated, showed up to the fundraiser, signed up for our newsletter to stay up to date, followed us on Facebook and Instagram, or volunteered your time to help us succeed, all of you are what makes us possible and you all are the sole reason why these children with Congenital Heart Disease can live with hope every day.

From the Never Miss a Beat Foundation team, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Let’s have an even better 2019!

Never Miss a Beat!
